Aviemore Holiday LodgeNewly refurbished holiday cottage outside Aviemore, sleeps 6.Our family self catering holiday cottage, Jura Cottage, just outside Aviemore, shares a (very secure!) boundary fence with the Highland Wildlife Park, so you can watch Przewalski’s horses, red deer, bison and other unusual animals as you stroll around the extensive grounds. Jura Cottage is sympathetically converted from a 1900’s TB hospital, with thick walls, slate roofs, plenty of character and thankfully no ghosts! The cottage itself used to be the hospital's dairy. And because we're keen cooks, when we're in a self-catering cottage, we want the kitchen to work so it has been recently renovated to include a dishwasher, washing machine and lovely big breakfast bar for long coffees and newspapers in the morning.
